Kadynce was putting some black tulle over her face, and she said "Look Mom, I am a princess." I said, "You look like a bride." She said, "No I am not a bride, brides only wear white." Travis said, "Why do they wear white?" She thinks for a minute and says "Well they just have to, they wear white because it matches their shoes..." What terrific logic!
I am having such a dilema because she wants so bad to be a bride for Halloween. Yet I am making the girls these darling fairy costumes. Am I a mean mom?

You need to make a book of "Kady's reflections"! She is too funny! How are the costumes coming? No your not mean, sometimes mom's have to much investing in a thought to have it go to waste! There is plenty of years for her to be a bride!

no you are not mean. i figure we don't have to many more years to convince our kids to be what we want them to be or what they should ask for christmas. i say take full advantage while they don't understand what we are doing!
