Organized Home...

I know I am not alone in this, but one of my new years resolutions this year was to organize my paperwork. I always have so much paperwork between life, my job, and school. Sometimes I feel like it might eat me... I decided I would get a handle on it and I found this website Organizedhome.com that really helped! They have a ton of great ideas and I have started implementing them, and I have to say... They have worked. Kortnee and I have talked alot about this and she has had some great ideas as well (Thanks Kort!)... Anyways, I am going to add the link to my links and I hope others find some ideas as well. Someday we will all be organized and have a place for everything!!

Try a Little Harder to Be a Little Better....

I have been thinking about President Hinckley's saying a lot lately. Nicole mentioned it one day while we were talking about how we were going to change the world. I had decided it would be my families motto for this year. It is such a great saying in my mind. It seems so simple and yet, it means so much. Aftering hearing of President Hinckley's passing tonight, I just can't stop thinking about what a great example he was in all of your lives. We are all so blessed having known him, and having felt his spirit influence our lives. He always had soo many wise things to say, that somehow could be applied to so many aspects of our lives. What a great man he was. He will be missed by so many, but how lucky we are to know he is happy. I hope my kids know enough about him that they will have memories of him... As I say that, I look around my house and realize, I do not even have a picture of him. I know as parents, we have such a responsibility to teach our kids along with what they are learning at church. I know I fall short in teaching my kids what they need to know about the gospel to gain a testimony of their own. I know my family needs to try a little harder to be a little better, and I promise, we will! We love you President Hinckley.

National Treasure...

This weekend Trav and I went to the movie National Treasure. (By the way Thanks Again David and Angie!!) It was a really good show. Some parts were a little far fetched, but what do you expect. Anyway, Susie and Cody saw it too a few days before us and we both decided we need to plan a trip to Mt. Rushmore. (But Susie, I got to tell you, I really do not think there is really a city of gold under the mountain!!) We are going to try to go when school gets out!!

Yes... I am posting!!

Well after a small break from the blogging world, I am ready to post again... Life has been BUSY! I am sure everyone will agree. I sometimes wonder when we can all just slow down! Unfortunately, I do not see that happening anytime soon. School is crazy. I am not loving Stats 2300... If anyone has some advice that would be great. It does not help when your instructor/professor starts the class off by saying, "If I teach the subject wrong, it is your responsibilty to correct me!" What is that supposed to mean!! The kids are doing great. Carson is the MVP this week in school so we made a fun poster for him to take. Kadynce and Maci are starting to be such good friends. I keep telling them how lucky they are to have each other. Sisters are the best! We are VERY close to being ready to sheetrock our add on... Hopefully be the middle of next week. Well Kadynce just told me she is mad at me... I better go find out why! (:
